Data Protection (KVKK) Notice

Information provided in the capacity of data controller within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

Data Controller

GMG Technic Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (hereinafter “GMG Technic”) is the data controller within the scope of Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Personal Data Processed

The following personal data may be processed within the scope of contact and quote requests submitted through the GMG Technic website:

• First name, last name
• Company / organization name
• Phone number
• E-mail address
• Subject of request / message content
• Type of request (quote, technical service, product information, sharing a project)

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The collected personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Evaluating contact and quote requests
• Conducting quotation processes and scheduling technical discussions
• Providing pre-sales and after-sales technical support services
• Carrying out preliminary processes for entering into a commercial relationship
• Establishing communication between the parties before a contract is concluded

Legal Grounds

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds:

• The explicit request of the relevant person (you)
• Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract
• Necessity for the legitimate interests of GMG Technic (KVKK Art. 5/2-f)

Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires. Data processed within the scope of request evaluation, the quotation process or a commercial relationship is kept in accordance with legal retention obligations after the relevant work / process is completed; at the end of this period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, with the necessary security measures taken, to authorized institutions for the purpose of conducting business processes, to official authorities upon request for the fulfillment of legal obligations, and to technical infrastructure service providers (web hosting, e-mail service provider). No data is transferred abroad.

Data Subject Rights

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is processed
• To request information if it has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose
• To know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad
• To request its correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
• To request its deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
• To request that the actions taken be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred
• To object to a result arising against you due to the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems
• To request compensation for damages in the event that you suffer harm due to unlawful processing
