Expomed Eurasia is one of the important gatherings of the medical device and healthcare packaging sector in Turkey. At this fair GMG Technic highlighted HCI’s medical sterilization pouch and roll making machine solutions.

Sterilization pouches are specialized packaging that keep surgical instruments and single-use medical products sterile, demanding high quality and traceability. HCI’s medical pouch/roll making machines carry out the critical steps of this production in line with healthcare packaging requirements; GMG Technic offers these solutions to manufacturers in Turkey within the scope of installation and technical support.

TaipeiPLAS is the international plastics and rubber fair held close to HCI Converting Equipment’s home base. At this event HCI exhibited its FSL-TR1300 Turret Rewind Slitting Machine; this series is one of HCI’s key models for slitting and rewinding operations that require high continuity.

During the same period, GMG Technic also shared its first field experience in medical sterilization pouches, demonstrating an application range that extends from flexible packaging to medical packaging.

At Your Service with the Innovations and Changes in Converting — ASD Pack Converting Magazine, Issue 85 (2018)

GMG Technic’s approach to technical service, automation and machine solutions for the packaging, printing and converting sectors was published in Issue 85 of the Pack Converting Magazine of the Packaging Manufacturers Association. The article covered the support offered to packaging manufacturers in Turkey through HCI Converting Equipment solutions.

The publication introduced HCI’s converting machine groups such as slitting, rewinding, lamination, shrink sleeve, embossing and bag making, while also highlighting GMG Technic’s field approach to machine installation, technical service, overhaul and automation. The content placed particular emphasis on the FSL-TX series slitting machines, the FTSC-V series solutions for doypack / stand-up pouch production, and the role of automation in packaging production with AVT inspection.

GMG Technic’s work to meet mechanical and automation needs on existing machines was evaluated together with goals of production continuity and quality control. This publication is one of the important archive records documenting GMG Technic’s early-period visibility in the Turkish packaging and converting industry with HCI Converting Equipment solutions.

Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2017 was GMG Technic’s first major trade fair appearance, made shortly after the company’s founding. At the stand showcasing HCI converting solutions, the FSL-TX1300 slitting and rewinding machine stood out; in the inventory, the image of Mesut Alkan with the FSL-TX1300 is marked as the strongest local archive record on the page.

This participation was the beginning of a trade fair tradition that would continue in the following years, and an important step in introducing GMG Technic’s role as HCI’s Turkish solution partner to the industry.

Technical Support for Packaging Printing Machines — Pack Converting Magazine (2017)

GMG Technic’s approach to technical service and automation for packaging printing machines was published in the Pack Converting 2017 industry publication under the title “Technical Support for Packaging Printing Machines.” The article addressed GMG Technic’s area of expertise as brand-independent technical support for flexo, rotogravure and offset printing machines.

The content highlighted the technical support provided to manufacturers through fault diagnosis, maintenance processes, installation, disassembly-assembly and automation work on printing machines; it also covered modernization work such as adding control panels and converting manual machines to computer control.

This publication is one of the early press records of GMG Technic’s brand-independent technical service approach. Today GMG Technic continues the same field-focused approach on a broader scale with technical service, overhaul, automation, disassembly-assembly, commissioning and HCI Converting Equipment solutions.

GMG Technic was founded in 2015 in Esenyurt, Istanbul, with a focus on industrial technical service and machine engineering. Starting with the assembly and servicing of shrink sleeve label machines, the work soon gained a foothold in the industry and deepened the company’s expertise in converting machinery.

Combining mechanical and electronic engineering competence with machine installation, commissioning, overhaul and automation services, GMG Technic became a reliable technical solution partner. This foundation became the starting point for the HCI Converting Equipment solution partnership for Turkey in the following years.
