Founded in 1982, HCI Converting Equipment specializes in the design and manufacture of comprehensive converting equipment for the flexible packaging industry. It maintains a strong presence across a wide range of applications, most notably semiconductor, TFT-LCD, electronics and medical. Its slitting, lamination, cutting and pouch / bag making equipment meets different production needs, from standalone models to complete turnkey solutions.

Slitting Machines
Slitting and rewinding lines for plastic film, aluminium foil, positive/negative foil, receipt rolls, fax paper, semiconductor and TFT-LCD materials.
Rewinding & Doctoring — Roll Inspection and Rewinding
Inspection and doctoring lines for the print quality, surface, length, edge alignment and tension rewinding of round-roll materials.
Lamination Machines
Dry and wet lamination lines for multi-layer materials (cigarette pack inner liners, food boxes, gum packaging, gift / collectible boxes, multi-layer pouches).
Pouch / Doypack Production Lines
Forming of heat-sealable multi-layer material; material folding, zipper insertion, side / bottom sealing, punching and length cutting are completed on the same line.
Bag Production Lines
Center sealing, gusset-forming heating, bottom sealing, punching and length cutting — center sealing and 4-side sealing bag production on a single line.
Anti-static and Medical Sterilization Pouch Lines
Anti-static / shielding bags that protect electronic components from ESD and electrostatic fields; sterilization reels and pouches for the medical sector.
Shrink Sleeve Seaming Machines
Middle gluing, doctoring and cutting lines for PVC and various shrink label materials — an economical and efficient investment.
Cutting and Sheeting Machines

Taiwan Plastics & Rubber R&D Awards
At the 2022 Award Ceremony for R&D and Innovation Excellence organized by TAITRA and TAMI, HCI won the "Excellence Award" and the "Aesthetics Award" in the Converting & Other Equipment category with its new FSL-TR Turret Rewinding Slitter model.

Following the Taipei Plas 2016 fair, HCI received the "First Prize of 2016 Taiwan Plastic & Rubber Industry Awards for Excellence in Research and Innovation."
2008
CE Certification — DNV
The HCI Slitter-Rewinder series (FSL, FSL-K, FSL-T, FSL-V) passed CE certification audit by the international certification body DNV (Det Norske Veritas) in November 2008 (Certificate No: 39359-2008-CE-RGC-DNV; Standard: EN 60204-1:2006, EN 1034-1:2000, EN 1034-3:2000).
