Shrink Sleeve Air Venting (Pinhole) Device
GMG Pinpice is a venting hole (pinhole) device designed for the controlled release of air trapped between the product surface and the film during sleeve application and the shrink tunnel on shrink sleeve labels. The film passes in a controlled manner under the needle discs; with register/photocell tracking, a micro air hole is opened at the same point and to the same standard on every label. This device is designed not for classic tear perforation but for a micro air-venting hole; it reduces ballooning and wrinkling and has minimal impact on visual quality. It works integrated into the converting line.

Air-Venting Micro Hole — Not Tearing
The goal is not to make the label easy to tear; it is the controlled release of air trapped under the film during shrink application. Thanks to the needle-disc structure, the hole diameter, position and repeat are adjusted according to the process need.
With register/photocell reference tracking, the film passes under the needle disc in a controlled manner and the hole is opened in the same area on every print repeat.
