The Sleeve-Eye inspection system is purpose-designed for in-line inspection of shrink labels; using a US-made high-speed HD CCD camera, it continuously captures an image of every label and, through an image processor, instantly displays each label’s lay-flat width on screen. After seaming, it can detect the lay-flat width with an ultrasonic system. It can also be installed on other equipment such as seaming machines and rewinding machines; the operator enters the upper/lower limits without using a ruler, and when out of limits the system issues an alarm and records the image of the defective product. As the Türkiye distributor, GMG Technic manages the sales, installation, commissioning and technical support processes.

In-line shrink sleeve width measurement and inspection system
Sleeve-Eye is an in-line width measurement and inspection system for shrink sleeve labels. With a US-made high-speed HD CCD camera and image processor, it instantly displays each label’s width on screen; the operator performs width inspection without using a ruler.
Upper/lower width limits are entered; it issues a warning when out of limits and records the image of the defective product. It also provides a freeze image for print quality control and replaces the stroboscope. It can be added to different equipment such as seaming and rewinding machines.
