The HCI Converting Equipment FSH series is a combined slitter rewinder family that performs heated edge sealing together with slitting. It is preferred in plastic film bag and label applications when the slit edge needs to be sealed with heat. With the 5 sets of heating side-sealing cutting unit + pneumatic lifting device + 10 sets of razor cutting unit in the standard package, both heated and cold slitting options are offered on the same machine. Film speed is 100 m/min in slitting mode and in the range of 20–40 m/min in heated slitting mode depending on the material. It is offered in three web width configurations: FSH-1000, FSH-1200 and FSH-1500. GMG Technic Makina San. ve Tic. Ltd. Production Advantages
- Both cold razor slitting and heated edge sealing are performed on a single machine; the need for additional machines on the production line is reduced.
- 5 sets of heating side-sealing cutting unit + pneumatic lifting device are included in the standard package; the heat level is adjusted by the user with the temperature control unit.
- One type or the other type of heating blade is supplied on request; the appropriate one is selected according to the material type and temperature resistance.
- A floating type unwind stand + 3 inch × 1200 mm pneumatic unwind air shaft + powder brake 2.5 kg/m are included in the standard package; the jumbo roll is automatically balanced.
- 2 sets of HCI Friction Quick Lock rewind shaft + 12 pcs HCI Quick Lock Ring + 38 pcs spacer are included in the standard package; the slit roll winding is tight and firm.
- 4 sets of aluminium lay-on roller 450 mm + anti-static unit + length counter + 1/2HP edge-trim exhaust fan are included in the standard package; a clean working environment and production tracking are ensured.

What Is FSH?
Heated side-sealing + slitting-rewinding platform
FSH is a special slitting-rewinding machine that seals the cut edge with a heated blade (heat side-sealing) together with the slitting process. It works with an electrically heated blade, temperature control and a pneumatic heat blade lifting system, especially for film/foil applications that want to prevent edge opening during slitting.

Technical Features
FSH working principle and core technical features
Heated Side Sealing (Signature)
5 sets of heating side-sealing cutting unit + pneumatic lifting device are included in the standard package. The slit edge is sealed with heat; no separate sealing step is needed in plastic film bag prep and label applications.
Dual Cutting Mode (Heated + Razor)
Besides the 5 sets of heated cutting unit, 10 sets of razor cutting unit are included in the standard package. The hot (sealed) or cold (cut) slitting mode is selected; two production modes are offered on the same machine.
3 Web Width Configurations
FSH-1000 (200–1000 mm), FSH-1200 (400–1200 mm) and FSH-1500 (400–1500 mm) variants are offered. The model best suited to the investment plan and slit width range is selected.
HCI Friction Quick Lock Rewind
2 sets of HCI Friction Quick Lock Shaft + 12 pcs HCI Quick Lock Ring are included in the standard package. With automatic side-pressure compensation, tension is kept constant as the roll diameter grows.
AC Motor 2HP Main Drive
The main drive AC motor 2HP is included in the standard package; with low power consumption (220V 36A · 380V 21A · 415V 19A) it suits the energy infrastructure of mid-capacity workshops. With a net weight of 2,100 kg, it is easily deployed in small production facilities.
Floating Type Unwind Stand
A floating type stand on the unwind side is included in the standard package; the left/right opening arms are automatically balanced. Jumbo roll eccentricity is compensated, and slit position accuracy is kept high.
Powder-Brake 2.5 kg/m Unwind Tension
Unwind tension control with a precision powder brake 2.5 kg/m is included in the standard package; surface damage is neutralised even on low-tone thin-film material. With the optional automatic tension controller, load cell integration is achieved.
Air Shaft 3″ × 1200 mm Unwind
A pneumatic unwind air shaft 3 inch × 1,200 mm is included in the standard package; the air channels apply equal pressure to the core inner diameter for fast gripping and release.
HCI Friction Quick Lock Rewind Shaft
2 sets of HCI Friction Quick Lock Shaft + 12 pcs HCI Quick Lock Ring + 38 pcs spacer are included in the standard package. With automatic side-pressure compensation, tension is kept constant as the roll diameter grows.
Aluminium Lay-On Roller × 4 (450 mm)
4 sets of aluminium lay-on roller 450 mm are included in the standard package. Each roller is positioned according to the slit width; it contacts the entire winding and keeps the winding structure firm.
Heating Side-Sealing Cutting Unit × 5
The standard package includes 5 sets of heating side-sealing cutting unit. The heat level is adjusted with the electrically heated heating blade + temperature control unit; the slit edge is sealed with heat. One type or the other type of blade is supplied on request.
Pneumatic Heating Blade Lifting Device
The pneumatic raise/lower device for the heating blades is included in the standard package. When switching between heated mode and cold slitting mode, the blades raise/lower quickly; production mode changeover is accelerated.
Razor Cutting Unit × 10
10 sets of razor cutting unit are included in the standard package. They are used for cold (cut edge) slitting; the heated cutting units can operate independently, so two production modes are offered on the same machine.
Anti-Static Discharge + Length Counter
For the static electricity generated during plastic film slitting, an anti-static unit is included in the standard package; the length counter, which helps the machine stop automatically when the preset length value is reached, makes production length tracking easier.
1/2HP Edge-Trim Exhaust Fan
A 1/2HP edge-trim exhaust fan is included in the standard package. It provides suction power for transferring the edge-trim material off the line; it operates integrated with the optional vacuum type edge-trim exhaust system.
