The HCI Converting Equipment FSL-K Standard Type series is an upper-mid standard segment slitter rewinder family for flexible packaging, paper, label and foil material slitting lines. Compared with the economical FSL series, it offers a more powerful drive (10HP), a wider unwind diameter (700 mm), faster operation (200 m/min) and a more comprehensive standard package. It is offered in 500–1,300 mm (FSL-K1300) and 1000/1600/1800 web width configurations. The HCI Friction Quick Lock Ring rewind in the standard package (14 pcs + 40 spacers) + powder brake 10 kg/m unwind + powder clutch 5 kg/m rewind × 2 + 4 sets of aluminium lay-on rollers + left/right travelling trim winder cover upper-mid standard production needs. Production Advantages
- Upper-mid standard segment slitter; offers a 10HP drive, 700 mm wide unwind diameter, 200 m/min speed and a comprehensive standard package.
- The HCI Friction Quick Lock rewind system is included in the standard package with 14 rings + 40 spacers; tension is kept constant through speed and diameter changes, and rewind quality is consistent.
- A powder-brake 10 kg/m unwind + powder-clutch 5 kg/m rewind × 2 + 4 sets of aluminium lay-on rollers (500 mm) are included in the standard package; stable tension across the entire speed range.
- A left/right travelling trim winder + 1HP edge-trim exhaust fan + anti-static unit + length counter (automatic line stop) are included in the standard package; edge trim is collected and a clean working environment is maintained.
- The standard package comes with a shear cutting unit (10 sets) + razor cutting unit (10 sets) together; the cutting mode is selected according to the material, and the waste ratio is low.
- With the modular upgrade, LPC/EPC web guiding (Germany E+L, Japan Mitsuhashi), 1,000 mm large-diameter stand, hydraulic raise-lower stand, different-side unwind/rewind device and grooved-roller razor cutting are added.

Upper-Mid Standard Segment (Signature)
An upper-mid standard segment universal slitter platform with a 10HP main drive + 700 mm unwind diameter + 200 m/min speed + 14 HCI Quick Lock Ring rewind package. It delivers consistent performance for flexible packaging, paper, label and foil slitting.
Dual Cutting Mode
A shear cutting unit (10 sets, 6, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100 mm aluminium spacers × 6 pcs) + razor cutting unit (10 sets) are together in the standard package. The cutting mode is selected according to the material, and the waste ratio is low.
Trim Winder
A left/right travelling trim winder + 1HP edge-trim exhaust fan + anti-static unit + length counter (automatic line stop) are included in the standard package. Edge trim is taken off the line, static electricity is neutralised, and production tracking is automated.
Modular Upgrade Packages
LPC/EPC web guider (Germany E+L AG-2591 or FE5002, Japan Mitsuhashi), 1000 mm large-diameter stand, hydraulic up/down travelling stand, razor groove cutting, adjustable razor cutting and a different-side rewind device are added modularly.
AC Motor 10HP Main Drive
The main drive AC motor 10HP is included in the standard package; it is optimised for 200 m/min speed and heavy-material slitting operations.
Floating Type Unwind Stand
A floating tip stand on the unwind side is included in the standard package; the left/right opening arms are automatically balanced, and jumbo roll eccentricity is compensated.
3″ × 1,300 mm Pneumatic Unwind Air Shaft
A pneumatic 3 inch × 1,300 mm unwind air shaft is included in the standard package; the air channels apply equal pressure to the core inner diameter for fast gripping.
Powder-Brake 10 kg/m Unwind Tension
Unwind tension control with a powder brake 10 kg/m is included in the standard package; tension performance optimised for the upper-mid standard segment. With the optional auto controller, load cell integration is achieved.
HCI Friction Quick Lock Rewind Shaft
2 sets of HCI Mechanical Friction Quick Lock Shaft + 14 pcs HCI Quick Lock Ring + 40 pcs spacer are included in the standard package. Tension remains constant through speed and diameter changes, and slit roll quality is consistent.
Powder-Clutch 5 kg/m × 2 Rewind Tension
2 sets of powder clutch 5 kg/m on the rewind side are included in the standard package; separate tension control is provided for the upper and lower rewind shafts.
Aluminium Lay-On Roller × 4 (500 mm)
4 sets of 500 mm long aluminium lay-on rollers are included in the standard package. Each lay-on roller is positioned according to the slit width.
Dual Cutting: Shear + Razor (10 + 10 sets)
The standard package comes with a shear cutting unit (10 sets) + 6, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100 mm aluminium spacers (6 pcs each size) + razor cutting unit (10 sets) together. The cutting mode is selected according to the material.
Left/Right Travelling Trim Winder (Standard)
Collection of edge trim by the left/right travelling rewind unit is included in the standard package. No vacuum trim system is needed; the line runs simply and cleanly.
Anti-Static Unit + Length Counter (Automatic Line Stop)
For static electricity during plastic and thin-film slitting, an anti-static unit is included in the standard package; the length counter (with automatic line stop function) performs production tracking without delegating it to the operator.
1HP Edge-Trim Exhaust Fan (Standard)
A 1HP edge-trim exhaust fan is included in the standard package; it provides suction power for transferring the edge-trim material to the left/right travelling trim winder.
Console Type Rewind Shaft
The opening/console type rewind shaft structure supports easier removal of the finished roll by the operator and provides practical use on the rewind side.
