The HCI Converting Equipment FDS Trim Winding Machine is designed for winding and collecting edge trim in bag-making and flexible packaging processes. A torque-motor-driven trim winder that moves in synchronization with the main machine; it can run on both edges simultaneously and is especially suitable for rewinding high tensile strength material. The FDS-450 / FDS-450-2 (twin rewind) variants offer 350 mm rewind diameter, 450 mm paper core length, 3″ core I.D. and a 0-100 m/min mechanical speed range.
